So back in 2014 I started an NBA podcast. Since we were a podcast that discussed hoops based out of the greater Los Angeles area, I called the show HoopLA (see what I did there?)

 

There were a grand total of 103 episodes of HoopLA ever recorded. If you were to go through every single episode, you would only find one. One person that was present for all 103. Although I put 100% into every podcast I did, I didn't put my all into any of my shows as much as I did my hoops podcast. The podcast was birthed having to be a niche on someone else's network, who already had a pop culture podcast. So, it was the first podcast I ever started, and it was fittingly my favorite subject

 

I intended to get back into writing while podcasting but life kinda got in the way. Between balancing my full-time gig, an entire podcast network, and at the time a relationship with my daughter, I didn't have a lot of time for other things

I'm one of those nerds that subscribes to NBA League Pass every year. Even though I'm always fully caught up on NBA matters throughout the season as a fan, I do miss expressing my thoughts and opinions publicly. Now that I'm no longer podcasting, my website is the perfect outlet to get back into the writing portion that I intended to do while podcasting (insert Kanye shoulder shrug here)

Yep, still a Thunder fan and looking forward to us wiping Luka's smug ass smile off his face (I just wanted to punch him in the face during the whole series last season, ole punk ass). I really had hoped that Sam Presti - whom I still have all the trust in btw and he has my full support no matter what moves he makes - would have gone after Zach Edey, as I thought he would have been a PERFECT addition to the squad and we do need size. But Presti had other plans and I'm with it. I think Chet is ready to break even further out. I hated getting rid of Josh Giddey but I figure his off-court shit is too much of a distraction for the likes of Presti. So (insert another Kanye shoulder shrug here)
